The four varieties of Robusta coffee proposed by the provincial government of Sumsel with the name Besemah 1, Besemah 2, Besemah 3, and Besemah 4 which originated from a plateau around Mount Dempo in the area of Pagar Alam, Sumsel. Four varieties of Robusta coffee is declared to pass as a superior variety of coffee Robusta Indonesia at the time of the open trial announcement.
